To qualify for State, these Patriots had to earn a Division I rating on a Class I (most difficult) solo or ensemble at the Regional competition during the spring semester. The LCISD Music Department competed in the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest this past weekend in Austin. In February, these students performed their solo or ensemble and earned the highest rating at the Region level, which advanced them to State. The students listed earned medals for outstanding performances in their solos and ensembles. Way to go, Pirates and Patriots! #LCPfamily

The parents of all incoming, interested, and returning LCHS and Liberty HS simmers/divers are invited to a meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 7 on the social stairs at the front of Lubbock-Cooper High School. (Athletes are also invited to attend, although this is a parent meeting.) Topics will include a program overview/goals, physicals/RankOne, summer schedules, practice schedules, transportation, and more. #LCPfamily
